The course deals with the branch of Sociolinguistics and the major linguistic schools.
General objectives:
The major objective of the course of Linguistics in the second year is
to provide the students with a basic knowledge in:
1. Major schools of Linguistics and their implications in language
teaching.
2. Sociolinguistics as a branch of Linguistics.
